Joni Belinda Hannigan is a Southern California native who resides in Jacksonville, Florida. She is the managing editor (since 2002) of a bi-weekly special interest newspaper distributed state-wide and online. Her professional career has encompassed serving in naval intelligence in the U.S. Navy; teaching high school English and Journalism; and freelance writing for nearly 20 years prior to her current position.
Joni is married to John since 1980 and has two children and three grandchildren. She keeps an active Facebook account for friends, family and colleagues.
During the 2012-13 Christmas and New Year holiday Joni visualized a new blog which would encompass her three loves–writing, teaching and photojournalism and is working to develop that blog. In time, it will connect to a website offering unique photos. Pray for her in this new venture.
